FISHING

Trout is a very smart fish and very difficult to catch. If you are a real fisherman, you will - with a sigh - release your catch back into the crystal-clear water of Lake Jasna or the Sava Dolinka. If not, you can take home a maximum of three fish. In addition to brown trout, rainbow and brook trout are waiting for you.

The upper part of the Sava Dolinka is running along the main road from Podkoren to Mojstrana. The water is extremely clear, the width of the gravel stream is about 4 m, and with a fishing license you can fly fish for rainbow trout - brown and brook trout are there too. A special feature is the relatively easy access to the river and the extremely picturesque surroundings with views of the Julian Alps and the Karavanke Mountains.
